Only one application form for a higher education grant and/or accommodation in university residences is necessary : The “Dossier Social Etudiant”
Forms can be requested by the Internet (https://dse.ac-lyon.fr), from the secretary’s office of the establishment attended, in university residences for students already housed in such places or at the CROUS, between 15 January and 30 April.

The Dossier Social Etudiant must be renewed every year. Don’t wait for the results of the Baccalauréat!
Traditional residences (rooms)
The rooms are approximately 9 meter square, furnished and bedlinen is provided and laundered.
Rooms are rented for 9 months. The rent is setting at 120,13 €/month for the academic year 2001-2002. Students can receive the ALS.

New residences (studios)
These halls offer one room flats (studios) from 18 to 35 meter square, which are suitable for one or two people. The studios are furnished and come with bedlinen, a kitchenette and a fully-equipped bathroom. A tenancy contract for a period of 12 months is established between the CROUS and the student for 1 September to 31 August.
These flats are eligible for APL and are exonerated from rates (“taxe d’habitation”).
The rent is about 228,67 €/month TTC.
